The First Sign of Madness

written and directed by Chris Neville-Smith

performed by Nicki Noble

My first appearance at Buxton Fringe, or any kind of fringe. Up to standard of Buxton Fringe, though I'd say it's not one of my better plays compared to what I write now. But it was the first step on the fringe circuit, the natural follow-up was Waiting for Gandalf, and it all followed on from there.

Also lots of adventures carrying a park bench through Buxton, but that's a story for another day.

Many many thanks to Nicki Noble for doing my first (almost) solo play, without which maybe none of the rest of my journey would have been possible.
